Brazilian singer, composer and guitarist Joyce Moreno returns to BIRD Rotterdam. A true icon with more than five decades of music behind her, Joyce brings together bossa nova, samba, jazz and Brazilian songwriting in a sound that is unmistakably her own.

“Please note: this concert takes place at LantarenVenster - Otto Reuchlinweg 996, Rotterdam, not at BIRD”

At BIRD, she presents music from her new album Never Too Soon, released on Far Out Recordings. Expect warm melodies, refined harmonies, sharp songwriting and the guitar playing that has inspired generations of artists and listeners.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Joyce began her career in the late 1960s, wrote hundreds of songs and released more than thirty albums. She worked with Brazilian greats such as Vinícius de Moraes and became a cult favourite worldwide through classics including Feminina and Água e Luz.
