BIRD’s kitchen is a reflection of the city of Rotterdam: unpolished, honest and a crossroads of styles and cultures. From October 1st, the kitchen will be lead by Ronald van Malukum, a chef with a focus on taste, a peoples person with love for everything food, a world cuisine where everything is possible. A metropolitan freestyle kitchen. Think of taste but trips to Asian, South American, Mediterranean and the Arabic cuisine. Since May 2015, BIRD’s kitchen has been expanded with an Italian wood-burning oven. Our pizzaiolo Orlando Petrassi prepares the delicious wood-fired pizzas in the wood-fired oven. Tuesday is your favorite (food) day. Our chef’s surprise menu for only €37.50 (instead of € 42.50 -). Book in advance with mention of “Tasting Tuesday”.

BIRD’s kitchen reflects the city of Rotterdam: unpolished, honest, and a crossroads of cultures and styles. Our pizzaiolo uses a wood-fired oven to prepare Neapolitan pizzas. We also offer a number of specials, but go ahead and let yourself be surprised by our Chef’s Table: a selection of small dishes to share… concocted and created by our chefs.

Pizza

When you step into BIRD, you’re greeted by enticing scents from our hot & steamy wood-fired oven. That’s what our pizzaiolo uses to prepare your new favorite pizza using the best fresh ingredients (burrata! San Marzano tomato sauce!). Our menu changes every season (we like to keep things interesting).

Reservations

You can book ahead, but you can always just drop by. Make a reservation online using the links below or call us Tuesday through Saturday between 3 and 6 p.m. on +31 10 737 11 54.

Reserve for more than 10 people

The kitchen is open Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30–9:30 p.m.
