Flammer Dance Band is a colourful indie-funk band run by a group of experienced breakdancers, who years ago perfected their moves by rocking and popping to the Afro-funk of Rob, Ebo Taylor, and Fela Kuti.

On Sunday, 02 February, Flammer Dance Band will be on stage at V11, Rotterdam. The energetic septet is all about vintage synths, spaced-out effects, hip-shaking grooves, and headbanging breaks! Flammer is tight rhythms and musical craftsmanship, with the freedom, spontaneity, and energy of a jam band.

Although they are already a well-known name in their home country of Norway and attract hundreds of listeners (and viewers, as their shows are a spectacle), they now want to spread the gospel of Flammer across Europe, including Rotterdam. Make sure you’re there on Sunday, 02 February!

V11 CONCERTS

V11 is the fantastic red lightship moored in the Wine Harbour. BIRD mainly uses this location to introduce the Rotterdam audience to up-and-coming artists. 100 people can fit in the ship’s concert hall, making it slightly smaller than BIRD. This makes it an ideal place for new artists to give atmospheric shows.
