This concert takes place at V11!

On Tuesday July 2, BIRD, NSRT and V11 join forces for an intimate night aboard V11. Not your average concert – but a soulful, deep-rooted trip with ESINAM & Sibusile Xaba: two artists who connect on a spiritual level through sound, rhythm and raw energy.

Belgian-Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist ESINAM and South African guitarist/vocalist Sibusile Xaba blend their roots and sonic worlds effortlessly. Think trance-inducing grooves, hypnotic vocals and a musical journey that bridges past, present and future.

What started as a guest feature on ESINAM’s debut album Shapes in Twilights of Infinity evolved into a creative partnership that took them across borders, from studio sessions and artist residencies to festivals in Mozambique, Morocco, Slovenia, Germany, the Netherlands and beyond. In 2024, the duo dropped their first single Africa Wola, followed by a remix from none other than South African DJ/producer DaCapo.

On July 2, they’ll bring their Healing Voices project live to Rotterdam. Expect meditative vibes, pulsating rhythms and deep human connection. Intimate, powerful, and raw, just how we like it at BIRD.

The 20th edition of North Sea Round Town takes place in 2025, from June 26 to July 13.
