And who better to celebrate that history with than Winne?

On September 30, we dive into BIRD’s hip hop history with Winne, one of Rotterdam’s true hip hop legends. A pioneering MC, songwriter and storyteller whose voice has been part of the city’s scene for decades, connecting generations of artists and listeners along the way.

For this special night, Winne takes the reins and brings together a selection of MCs from BIRD’s rich history. Artists who have stepped onto our stage, shared their tracks and energy, and helped shape the story of this place.

These are the first names taking over our stage that night: Fresku. Noell3. Nnelg. Zwart Licht. Which tracks will they perform? That’s up to them.

No fixed format. No polished greatest hits set. Just artists choosing the tracks that mean something to them. Tracks that bring back memories, say something about who they are, or simply still go hard.

Expect Rotterdam hip hop, unexpected combinations, different generations and tracks you might not have heard live in years.

A night curated by someone who doesn’t just know Rotterdam’s hip hop history, he’s part of it.
