At BIRD, we bring everything together: music, people, and good food.
Our menu is just like Rotterdam itself; vibrant, honest, and always evolving.Expect Mediterranean flavors, wood-fired pizzas, sunny classics, and shared bites that are as lively as our shows. At the head of the kitchen is chef Rogier van der Sluys, focusing on flavor. A people's person with a love for a cuisine where anything is possible.
Since May 2015, BIRD's kitchen has expanded with an Italian wood-fired oven. In the wood oven our pizzaiolo Marius Chetroni bakes delicious wood-fired pizzas.

Let our chef surprise you during our BIRD shared dining experience for €37,50. Shared dining is about enjoying the best dishes from our chef together! BIRD's shared dining consists of a selection of various starters and main courses to share: antipasti, salad, fish, meat and vegetarian dishes – and pizza is also an option. The selection is set weekly and consists of seasonal products delivered fresh each day by our local suppliers.

Reservations are for the restaurant only. For the BIRDsessions on Wednesday evenings or drinks you do not need to make a reservation.
If you reserve for 8 people or more, we serve the BIRD shared dining concept. You can choose from BIRD's culinary shared dining or pizza shared dining. On request the number of courses can be adjusted and any dietary requirements can be specified with your reservation.
SPECIAL! Tasting Tuesday & Pizza Wednesday!Tuesday is your favorite (food) day. Enjoy the chef’s surprise menu, for just €32.50 (instead of €37.50) p.p. On Wednesday: pizza + beer (or soda) for €15.00! Book in advance, mentioning ‘Tasting Tuesday’ or ‘Pizza Wednesday’.

Want to discover the origins of pizza and what you can create in our Italian wood-fired stone oven with your company, a group of friends or family? Our pizzaiolo is happy to share his knowledge with you! In our pizza workshop you’ll learn the tricks of the trade: from making and rolling out your own dough to topping and baking your pizza in the oven.
Once the pizzas are out of the oven, it’s time to enjoy the results together – of course with a nice drink. Our pizza workshops can also be combined with a wine tasting or a workshop in the BIRD kitchen. A pizza workshop costs €38.50 per person.

The coziest and ultimate wine experience at BIRD! Let yourself be taken on a world wine journey through countries like Italy, Spain, France, and Germany and enjoy our wine tasting together with your colleagues, friends, or family.
