The Meltdown brings pure southern soul, with influences from Stax, Motown, and the legendary Nashville songwriting tradition. The heart of the band is the enchanting and soulful voice of Simon Burke. Together with their mesmerizing grooves, tight horns, and sincere melodies, they create a sound that moves both your heart and feet.

After their debut album The Meltdown (2017) and the brilliant follow-up It’s A Long Road (2022), they have made their mark worldwide. Live, they are a sensation, and their performances at festivals have only added to their reputation as one of the most exciting bands of the moment.

In the spring of 2025, their new album will be released, and The Meltdown continues to spread their soulful vibes across the world. So come to LantarenVenster and experience it yourself!
