Kraak & Smaak live at Maassilo, Rotterdam

Kraak & Smaak return to Rotterdam on Thursday 22 April 2027 for a full live show at Maassilo, presented by BIRD and LantarenVenster.

For more than twenty years, the Leiden-based band has built an international reputation with its blend of electronic funk, disco, soul and dance. From clubs and festivals in the Netherlands to stages around the world, Kraak & Smaak have developed a sound made for both live audiences and the dance floor.

Following their 20th anniversary and the release of Twenty, the band returned to the studio for their seventh album, Velvet Seas. The record includes tracks such as Nothing Is Forever, Heat and Travel Light, bringing together the grooves, electronics and live instrumentation that define their sound.

Live is where Kraak & Smaak come into their own. With Berenice van Leer and Ivar Vermeulen on vocals, the band heads to Maassilo with new music from Velvet Seas alongside familiar Kraak & Smaak favourites.

From Leiden to dance floors around the world, and on 22 April back in Rotterdam.
