From the schoolyards of Melbourne to V11 in Rotterdam: Karate Boogaloo are coming to town for a BIRD x V11 show on February 3.

Henry Jenkins, Hudson Whitlock, Callum Riley and Darvid Thor have been making music together since their teenage years. What started with a shared love for Booker T. & The M.G.’s and The Meters grew into their own take on instrumental soul and funk, laidback grooves, tight drums and plenty of cinematic atmosphere.

Now more than a decade into their journey, Karate Boogaloo have become a mainstay of the Naarm underground. Their KB’s Mixtapes series, albums Carn The Boogers and Hold Your Horses, and collaborations with artists including Danielle Ponder have all helped shape their distinct sound.

Fresh off a European tour with fellow College Of Knowledge artists Surprise Chef, the band are back with new music. Their third album, Access All Areas, was released in 2026 via Colemine Records and College Of Knowledge Records.

On Wednesday, February 3, 2027, Karate Boogaloo bring it all to V11.
