BIRDsessions: FEVER

BIRDsessions is our musical playground for artists, musicians and curious ears. A place where you never quite know what’s going to happen, where new music takes shape, new bands come together, new friendships begin and new sounds are discovered.

Every week, we put the spotlight on a different act from Rotterdam’s jazz scene and beyond. Come listen, come play, meet new people or simply see where the music takes you.

This week: FEVER, November 4

What happens when jazz musicians and experimental electronic artists get together? FEVER is here to find out. This Amsterdam-based collective brings UK garage, techno, funk, disco, jungle and IDM into one mix of original tracks and improvisation. Expect infectious grooves, electronic sounds that keep you guessing and plenty of room for the unexpected.

FEVER is for anyone who misses a little more humanity on the dancefloor. Think live instrumentation, spontaneous moments and a sound that refuses to stick to one genre. With saxophone, two drummers, bass, guitar, electronics and live FX, they create something that sits somewhere between a live show and a club night.

Come hang out, get into the groove and see where the music takes you. Whether you're here to dance, listen or just check out something new, there's a place for you.

See you at BIRD!
