From BIRDsessions artist in residence to international rising star, Ebba Åsman is back! The Swedish trombonist, singer-songwriter, and jazz innovator will release her new album When You Know on March 21.

Trombonist, singer-songwriter, and jazz talent Ebba Åsman is a name to watch. She studied at the Södra Latin school in Stockholm and the Rotterdam Conservatory, but quickly decided to follow her own path. At 18, she released her first album, and her second record immediately earned her a Swedish Grammy nomination in the Best Jazz category.

For her latest album When You Know, Ebba sought tranquility in a remote cabin in the Swedish woods. The result? A hypnotic blend of modern soul, dreamy vocals, digital beats, and the warm tones of her iconic black trombone. The album is released by the influential London label Dorado Records and will be out in March 2025.
