Yep, you read that right. Komproeven (comedian Howard Komproe’s culinary project) and BIRD are teaming up once again for a BBQ Battle where chicken takes center stage.

BIRD sous chef Rocher Essed will be serving up his legendary drumsticks, marinated in his personal secret spice blend. Juicy and switi.

And then there’s Soul Food Lovers. The name pretty much says it all. They’ll be serving up Jerk Chicken that’s been marinating for hours. Full of flavor, nice and spicy, and exactly how jerk is meant to be.

Try both creations, sample the new sauces from Komproeven, enjoy even more delicious treats, catch some great tunes provided by Rotterdam’s very own homegrown DJ Plentyvyenty, and soak up the laid-back atmosphere.

We’ll fire up the grill. You sit back and chill.
