The sizzling afterparty for New Orleans Soul Food Night!

After Soulfood Night, we clear the tables, and you can dance off all the calories during the live show of the ten-piece band Cabbage Alley and DJ Dandy Dave.

Cabbage Alley was an alley around Perdido Street New Orleans and a legendary funk album by The Meters. The live band Cabbage Alley delivers a tight programme of New Orleans funk, where traditional second line brass seamlessly merges with contemporary sounds.

Cabbage Alley cherishes the essence of legendary acts like The Meters, combined with the musical vision of bands such as Orgone, Lettuce, and Stanton Moore. The band creates a funky landscape with a show where you find yourself in alleys around Perdido Street in New Orleans. Cabbage Alley consists of a rhythm section and a five-member brass section, featuring experienced musicians from leading Dutch bands across various genres.

DJ Dandy Dave concludes the soulfood night, bringing along his record case full of sizzling hot 45 rpm singles. The roots of his musical universe stem from bluegrass and country music, branching into throw-and-smash guitar instrumentals, raw (Black) Rock’n’Roll, sizzling Soul and 60s Garage screamers.
