BIRD is the stage for black live music in the Netherlands. This fact has been leading in our artistic vision since its inception. Groove-based genres, in particular jazz, hip-hop and black electronic music, also known as blacktronica, are our foundation. BIRD strives to be at the forefront as a stage, always current and constantly innovating, offering plenty of space for talented (new) creators, encouraging artistic experiments and seeking depth. With this, BIRD wants to offer a broad and diverse audience a lively and varied musical experience.
