Pass Da Jazz is the weekly pre-club night that turns Mavis into the city’s warm and vibrant living room. Each Friday we celebrate the rich legacy of Jazz and all the genres it has inspired — from Hip Hop, Soul and Boogie to Disco, Funk, House and Broken Beats.

Every edition features guest DJs, both national and international, who bring their own flavor and push the boundaries of groove. Alongside our residents Ray Escobar and Cutnice, they shape a night full of musical storytelling and energy.

But Pass Da Jazz is more than music.

Each week we welcome guest chefs who serve soulful dishes inspired by Caribbean, African and diaspora cuisine — perfect comfort food to start your evening. The kitchen opens at 18:00, offering warm plates and small bites all night. Pair your meal with one of Mavis’ signature cocktails for the full experience.

The music begins at 19:00 and continues until 01:00, with occasional late-night extensions until 02:00 when the vibe is too good to stop.
