Where the soulful heartbeat of Rotterdam comes alive.

Pass Da Jazz is the weekly pre-club night that turns Mavis into the city’s warm and vibrant living room. Every Friday we celebrate the rich heritage of Jazz and all the genres it has inspired from Hip Hop, Soul and Boogie to Disco, Funk, House and Broken Beats.

Each edition features guest DJs, both national and international, who bring their own style and push the boundaries of groove. Together with our residents Ray Escobar and Cutnice, they create an evening full of musical stories and energy.

But Pass Da Jazz is more than music.

Every week we welcome guest chefs who serve soulful dishes inspired by Caribbean, African and diaspora cuisines perfect comfort food to start your night. The kitchen opens at 6:00 PM and serves warm plates and small bites throughout the evening. Pair your meal with one of Mavis’ signature cocktails for the full experience.

The music starts at 7:00 PM and continues until 1:00 AM, with occasional late extensions until 2:00 AM when the vibe is too good to stop.
