Dutch singer Nona van der Wansem, known simply as Nona – has one of the most soulful and striking voices in today’s music scene. Her sound blends soul, blues, rock, and pop into something raw, powerful, and deeply moving. With songs that tell personal stories while touching on universal themes such as love, loss, resilience, and self-acceptance, Nona connects directly with her audience.

Her breakthrough came in 2018 with the single It’s Alright, followed by her acclaimed debut album Nona (2019), which featured tracks like Sleeptalking and Givin’ It All. She quickly earned a reputation as one of the country’s most exciting live acts, performing at major festivals such as Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz, Down The Rabbit Hole, and Paaspop.

After a period of reinvention and personal growth, Nona returns stronger than ever with new music that is more honest, raw, and organic – putting her unmistakable voice front and center.

On March 28, 2026, she will bring her powerful live show to LantarenVenster, presented by BIRD in collaboration with LantarenVenster.
