British soul and jazz singer Myles Sanko comes to Rotterdam on 15 October for a special show by BIRD and LantarenVenster. Known for his warm voice and groove driven sound, Sanko blends soul, jazz and hip hop with rhythmic influences from his Ghanaian roots.

Over the years he built a strong reputation as a live performer. He shared stages with artists such as Gregory Porter and Martha High and sold out LantarenVenster several times before. His music draws inspiration from soul legends like Bill Withers, Otis Redding, Al Green and James Brown, while shaping a sound that feels modern and personal.

In 2024 he released his sixth album Let It Unfold on his own label 213 Music. The record reflects on childhood experiences and future dreams and marked a new chapter of artistic independence. Sanko now prepares his seventh album I See My Light, set for release in September 2026. The new work continues his journey of self reflection, healing and creative freedom.
