On Friday 26 September, Brintex Collective will take the stage at BIRD with a brand-new live set, featuring tracks from their freshly released album 'Make It Make Sense'.

Brintex Collective is the creative playground of keyboardist Brenn Luiten and a group of young, versatile musicians from Rotterdam. Their energetic and distinctive sound sits somewhere between jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music.

The band shares a special connection with BIRD. Since their debut performance in October 2019, Brintex Collective has returned to the venue multiple times. Both for regular BIRDsessions and special events. In March 2020, they paid tribute to Shafiq Husayn with a set that included music by artists such as Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, and Robert Glasper. A few months later, in May 2020, they appeared on a livestream edition of BIRDtv, revisiting their original trio format.

The relationship between Brintex Collective and BIRD goes beyond music. It's also deeply personal and historically significant. BIRD served as a launchpad for the band and remains a vital space for their musical growth and expression.

With the release of 'Make It Make Sense', Brintex Collective opens a new chapter in their artistic journey. A celebration of their Rotterdam roots and their ongoing evolution as a band.
