On Wednesday, April 30th, we welcome Sam Nera and her band during our weekly BIRDsession. This Belgian-Amsterdam singer-songwriter brings a layered mix of neo-soul, electronic sounds, and experimental influences. With a background in jazz and a clear, soulful voice, she creates music that resonates.

Her debut EP Rebirth explores themes such as grief, healing, and transformation. Under her stage name, an anagram of her deceased mother's name, Sam pays tribute to loss, but also to the power of rebirth. Her songs are comforting, intense, and inspiring.

After the performance, as always, the jam session starts, a staple within the BIRDsessions. Bring your instrument, step onto the stage, and join in. Everyone is welcome, from novice musicians to established artists.
