From January 7th, we’re back with a brand-new season of our weekly BIRDsessions. And a new season means a new artist in residency. Over the coming weeks, our sessions will be hosted by none other than MAIN, one of the most versatile artists in our city. For years, he has been a familiar presence at BIRD as an MC, rapper, presenter, and musician. Now he’s ready for a new adventure within our nest. The theme of his residency? Generations. He draws on the experiences of previous generations, adds inspiration from the future, and creates moments that are both of the present and timeless.

His program is a musical journey through genres and generations: from hiphop, jazz, and funk to live performance, acting, and experimental sounds. It’s a platform where different worlds come together, where freedom and expression are central, and where music is celebrated as a source of connection, energy, and inspiration.

Generations is a celebration of music, creativity, and timeless moments – an invitation to listen, discover, and experience.

We kick things off with a tribute to one of MAIN’s biggest influences as an MC: hiphop’s most notorious rap crew, the Wu-Tang Clan. An evening full of energy, freestyle, and respect for the classics that have inspired generations of artists. Musicians, enthusiasts, and the curious: join us, connect, and get inspired.
