Processing personal data

BIRD processes personal data that you personally provide to us by signing up for an event, buying an online ticket, or subscribing to the newsletter and mailings: your name, email address, postcode, bank account number. Other details are not required to be filled in. We need this information to process your payment, correspond about activities, and for any marketing purposes (only applicable if you subscribe to the newsletter).

In addition, we make use of Google Analytics, which records your activity on our site, your IP address, the internet browser, and the device you visit our site with. We do not store any special and/or sensitive personal data.

Cookies

When you visit our website, our server sends a cookie to your computer. We use functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. Functional cookies ensure that our website functions properly, analytical cookies (Google Analytics) allow us to track behaviour on our website, and tracking cookies enable us to display online advertisements (via Facebook and Instagram). You can turn these cookies on or off in the pop-up that appears on your first visit. The pop-up can be recalled after clearing your browser cache.

Sharing personal data

We will not sell your information to third parties and will not pass it on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the execution of our agreement or to comply with a possible legal obligation.

Adjusting and deleting data

You can always unsubscribe from our newsletter and mailings yourself. Do you want us to remove your details from our address book as well, or do you want to see which data we have stored about you?
