Jazz from the UK is hot! For a few years now, a sound could be heard in and around London that combines grime, afro, hip hop, broken beat, jazz and electronics.

Names like Shabaka Hutchings and Yussef Kamaal gave this sound its first push. With the release of We Out Here, the era-shifting compilation on Brownwood Recordings, jazz from the UK has officially been put on the map.
