Homegrown let’s you discover the sounds of tomorrow in a relaxed setting (with a beer in hand!). The best young, musical talents from Rotterdam (and beyond) will climb the BIRD stage to showcase their music of the future.

Dr. Meraki is a young, energetic band that blends jazz, soul, funk and fusion. Tommy, Milan, Pim and Huy haven’t sat still when it comes to their music. For example, they won The Road to Parkpop 2016, they took home the Lekker Bezig award at Metropolis Festival, and they won the Music Matters Awards, which means they were Music Ambassadors of Rotterdam in 2017. They also played at Bad Ass Jazz Fest, Jazz in de Gracht, State-X New Forms and Sniester, among other festivals.
