Autumn is here, time to turn over a new leaf. A new BIRDsessions residency will help us do just that. Grab your passport, tour guide Nello Biasini takes you on a musical trip of the world. We start in New Orleans, transfer in London, go back to Detroit and finish in our hometown of Rotterdam.

Home sweet home! In our final week, Nello goes all out with N.E.W., a project he’s doing with his good friend Willem ’t Hart to explore the relationship between humans and machines. N.E.W. doesn’t just stand for Nello En Willem (Nello and Willem), it also stands for experimenting with new ways and new music. It’s a home game for both musicians, and Rotterdam as a modern, technological city completely suits the vibes of the night. Add Paul van de Calseijde on sax for a guarantee of a whole lot of electronic beats, distorted notes and effects!
